  1. Get started with your shopping list. Download project guide for entire list.
  2. Dulux Renovation Range Floors, requires a clean surface to adhere. All grease and dirt contamination MUST be removed, or the paint will not adhere and will peel or flake off. On ALL surfaces cleaning is the most important step. Scrub down all areas with Selleys® Sugar Soap and rinse with clean water to remove any dirt, oil or grease.
  3. Add all of the Additive found underneath the blue lid to the primer first. When finished priming, repeat process with the topcoat. Stir well for approximately 2-5 minutes with a broad flat paddle, using an up and down scooping action until the additive is completely mixed into the primer or the paint. Once mixed the Primer is suitable to use for up to 3 days. The topcoat, after mixed, is suitable to use for up to 10 days.
  4. After the additive has been added and stirred, apply Dulux Renovation Primer. For full instructions see label.
  5. After the additive has been added and stirred, apply at least two coats of Dulux Renovation Range Floors ensuring that the previous coat is left for a minimum of 8 hours before recoating

FAQs

  • What sizes does Renovation Range come in?

Renovation Range is available in 1L and 2L sizes

  • What should I use to clean surfaces that will be painted?

Use a non-abrasive grease and oil cutting cleaner like Selleys Sugar Soap. Clean the surface at least twice with clean water and Sugar Soap each time. Clean until the cleaning water and Sugar Soap remain clean.

Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds. Abrasive scouring pads should be used when cleaning before painting.

  • Can I use Renovation Range outside?

Interior only product. We designed the paints using Acrylic Resins so that the product can resist yellowing and fading in direct sunlight through a window. However, they are not designed for exterior use.

  • What is the coverage of Renovation Range products?

All of the products have been designed to deliver 12m2/L per coat.
To establish the amount of paint you require follow the calculation below.

1: Work out the total area that you wish to coat.
2: Multiply by 2 for the number of coats required.
3: Divide by 12 to establish litres required.
4: Multiply the litres by 1.3 to allow enough for 30% excess to allow for waste, roller and brush loading and retention in the can and roller tray.

Where figures are less than full litres round up to full litres.
    e.g for a 10m2 of surface. 10 X 2 = 20 20/12 = 1.67 1.67 X 1.3 = 2.17
    Round up to 3 litres.

  • Can Renovation Range be applied to glazed terracotta tiles?
