How to get the perfect look
Step-by-step
Step 1: Preparation
Before you start, move furniture and clear the space, brush away any dirt and lay down a drop cloth.
Use a brush to remove imperfections.
Lightly sand any pre-painted surfaces.
Cover the floor with a drop sheet and mask off around the edges
Step 2: Spray
If using Weathershield, dilute with up to 10% water and stir paint.
Unscrew the container from the spray gun and pour in the paint.
For the internal walls of the outdoor seating area, turn the nozzle to the vertical setting.
Use the circular jet for corners, edges and hard-to-reach surfaces.
Point the spray gun directly ahead and start spraying from one side, working across the wall in long vertical strokes.
Release your finger from the trigger when you get to the top and bottom to prevent too much paint forming in one area and dripping.
Follow the same process for the ceiling.
2-3 coats may be required.
Have fun with a pool room and create a statement by using a bright colour for the inside space. Team with neutral colours for maximum impact.
