Dulux® Venetian® Plaster Concrete Stucco Grey creates a contemporary urbane style simulating the natural look of polished concrete. Concrete Stucco is a traditional Venetian plaster from yesteryear that is factory-tinted to two attractive concrete grey tones – Light Grey and Grey. It has a classic natural mineral look with a high-gloss finish yielding a multi-coloured marble effect. It is the perfect choice to decorate high-hand interiors and is widely used in foyers, hotel reception areas and concert halls. It is an eco-friendly product, obtained from selected marble powders and genuine slaked lime baked in wood-fired kilns and aged for 8 to 10 months.

Civil plaster or old mineral paintsApply directly if the surface is not powdery, in good condition and sufficiently roughOn supports of the type: Gesso, gypsum, plasterboard, old synthetic or powdery paints, stucco smoothingApply a coat of primer to the point of saturation and subsequently a coat of Venetian Plaster Marmorino Naturale in advance with appropriate products the presence of stains of various types or any saline efflorescence. Irregular supports with uneven absorption rates, restored plaster, stains, etc., Apply a layer of Intocalce with a steel trowel to even out the surface and create the ideal base for even absorption.
Apply in temperatures between 8-30°C and relative humidity below 75%. Do not apply product if rain is likely or in the presence of strong sunlight, strong wind. Protect treated surfaces from rain for the time required to allow product to fully cure. Scaffolding should be erected in a way that allows work to be continued uninterrupted until a natural boundary of the building is reached, to avoid seams, overlaps and differences in shade. Ensure that a sufficient quantity of the same batch of paint is available to complete the entire job, or at least to complete whole sections that will not reveal shade or application variances. Apply one or two layers of Venetian Plaster Concrete Stucco with a steel trowel or spatula letting each layer dry before proceeding in order to obtain a perfectly smooth surface. At this point on the last layer, which has dried slightly, making sure that it is neither completely dry and nor excessively wet, proceed to the polishing by going over the surface repeatedly with a spatula, pressing hard. To confer an increased degree of water repellency and compactness to the surface apply, after about 2/3 hours, with a steel trowel and pressing energetically, a layer of Cere D'Arte Wax or a layer of virgin beeswax.Exposure to persistent driving rain in the first few days after application, particularly to acid rain, can cause the formation of a whitish surface deposit due to the natural reaction of the calcium hydroxide that has not yet carbonised. These deposit tend to lesson over time as the surface is washed by further exposure to rain. These imperfections of finish are not to be considered as product defects, but are characteristics the natural mineral finish.
