Acratex introduce recycled plastic pails
We have strengthened our commitment to sustainability by switching to 50% recycled content in our 15L plastic pails and lids.
The first of our new recycled content plastic pails have just rolled off the filling lines at our factory in Beverley, South Australia.
By the end of 2024, all products packaged in 15L plastic pails at the Acratex factory will be in containers made from 50% recycled plastic.
This move towards a more sustainable future will divert more than 300 tonnes of waste from landfill annually.
Look out for our new-look pails in store. They are easily identifiable in dark grey compared with the previous white containers.
