Acratex® Hebel® Powerfinish® is a mid-build, trowel applied flexible acrylic finishing and barrier texture coat that provides the decorative final layer delivering a medium Tuscan-style finish whilst maintaining barrier performance through its unique water phobic technology.

Performance guide
- Salt: Resists salt spray especially when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield.
- Heat Resistance: Up to 90C (dry)
- Water: Water resistant with good vapour permeability.
- Solvent: Resists alcohol and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Sensitive to strong solvents.
- Abrasion: Good resistance to abrasion especially when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.
- Acid: Slight softening with dilute acid. Inert when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance.
- Alkali: Slight softening with dilute alkali. Inert when top coated with Dulux Acratex AcraShield Advance

Previously Painted Surfaces
All surfaces must be thoroughly clean and free of all contaminants, dirt, surface chalk, grease, mould, mildew, wax, loose or flaky paint, form oils, release agents and mortar splashes. Metal, tie wire, etc. on surface must be removed or treated against corrosion. Surface imperfections and irregularities should be levelled and patched and completely flush to surrounding surfaces.
Remove trowel marks using Hebel® Sander.

Use masking to protect adjacent areas. The area should be patched and primed ready for final texture coat.
Hebel® PowerFinish is applied by hawk and stainless steel trowel, then finished in a circular motion with the plastic finishing float to achieve an even granular appearance.
Two applicators are required for most areas - one applying the other processing the finish. Delivery must be to a uniform thickness. Allow the material to stand for a short time before ""rubbing up"" with float to produce the desired pattern/texture. Application must be in a brisk uniform fashion terminating when the whole area is complete, banded by a natural break such as an expansion joint, corner etc. Application commenced on a single area must be completed uniterrupted.
Unused paint
Unused paintDo not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.Empty paint containersLeave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities.
