Acratex® AcraPatch® Smooth is an acrylic based, fine to medium build, feather edging patching compound. Supplied in a water dispersible paste, it exhibits minimal drying, shrinkage & good adhesion to clean substrates.

Trowel or spatula
Mandatory to mix 10 - 15 % clean Portland cement for all external surfaces.
Dulux Acratex Acrapatch Smooth is over-coated with Dulux Acratex Acraprime Water Based.
The solvent composition of Dulux Acratex Acraprime Solvent Based will affect the Acrapatch film and should be avoided.
A spread rate of 0.5 sqm/l corresponds to 2000 microns dry film thickness assuming no loss.
Product should be thoroughly mixed before use.
Refer to the Dulux Acratex Application Manual for detailed application instructions.
For Exterior jobs use a power mixing device to incorporate 10-15% cement. Add a little water to achieve the required workability.
For interior applications use the product as supplied where addition filling is required the addition of 5 - 10 % clean Portland cement is recommended.
Dulux Acratex Acrapatch Smooth is generally applied with trowel and mortar board.
A spatula knife can be used for isolated patching and often a sponge float is used to spread the material over extensive blow holes. Each coat should be not more than 2mm thick.
Use several coats to fill larger irregularities or use Dulux Acratex Acrapatch Coarse.
Unused paint
Unused paintDo not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.Empty paint containersLeave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities.
