As we head into cooler days and the leaves start to turn, bring a cosy atmosphere to your home with rich colour combinations inviting you to spend time inside and entertain at home. Using the Dulux autumn colour trend Flourish here are some styling tips from Dulux colour forecaster and stylist Bree Leech. Written by Bree Leech. Colours featured: Dulux White Dune Quarter and Dulux Clay Pipe Half.
For our autumn palette we chose the complex and inviting Clay Pipe Half. Easy on the eye, and the perfect backdrop to the current trend of cream boucle and nude linen decor. Add rich merlot and burgundy hues in velvet for a hit of decadent colour.
Luxurious stone and gold accents will add to the sophistication and warmth of the interior. Use Dulux Duramax Discretion for small decor or furniture items, its tonal relationship to Dulux Clay Pipe Half creates an immersive palette.

White Dune Quarter
White Dune Quarter is a creamy white with a subtle green undertone. It is perfect for pairing with greys, browns and charcoals.
In an all-white interior sometimes we feel adding colour will be too much contrast. Aim to transition colour in your spaces - the softer hue of Dulux Basic Coral transitions into the White Dune Quarter kitchen perfectly.
The kitchen then features pops of tonal colour taken from the adjoining open plan area, connecting the two spaces even though the kitchen remains white.
Interior palettes can be sparked or completed by adding artwork. We found the perfect colour combinations within the art chosen to complete this living space and tie all the elements together.
If you're stuck on where to start adding colour to your home - using your existing artwork or discovering a new piece to love, might hold the inspiration you need.
Look at how the artist worked with the colours that have drawn you to it - how would those combinations work within your interior to create a new look?
