Here comes the sun! With the sunny season fast approaching, check out some simple ways you can bring summer colours to life at home.
There’s some beautiful vibrant trends to add colour and light for Summer. Colours that depict the new foliage such as Dulux Celery Green, our golden sunrise in Dulux Sassy, our decadent green Dulux Equatorial Forest and our two fun and playful blues in Dulux Edvard and Harmonious.
The underlying essence of the Summer palette is all about positivity and looking forward to more freedom on the horizon. It’s about not taking ourselves too seriously and using colour to brighten our surroundings.
This Summer palette from Wonder includes brighter colour and more subtle pastels. This palette is joyous and happy and really brings summer to life. The winter and autumn palettes will be much less vibrant and bring in more muted earth-based colours.
Some small ways to help create that summer feel in your home could be changing your cushions or bed linen to these summery hues and painting some vases or a small side table in a key colour such as Dulux Edvard or Celery Green.
I personally love the colour Dulux Celery Green from the Summer palette. It’s refreshing and positive and is surprisingly versatile - it would look just as amazing in a bedroom as it would in a main living space. It’s such an adaptable colour to scheme with - working alongside blues, pinks and whites and neutrals.
