Our colour team has been at the forefront of promoting and supporting design trends since launching the annual Dulux Colour Forecast in 1999. Our carefully considered palettes provide a unique view into the history of colour trends that have inspired and delighted homeowners, designers and architects. Comprising soft comforting neutrals which have rich, invigorating accent hues that allow moments of personal expression.
The Retreat, Nourish and Reset palettes evoked familiarity and comfort, creating a sense of renewal while holding onto nostalgic elements.
Reconnecting was at the centre of the Grounded, Comeback, Cultivate and Indulge palettes of 2020.
The Filter theme focussed on creating your happy place and living your best life with the Repair, Wholeself, Legacy and Identity palettes.
As life moved into the fast lane, the desire to shift gears and slow down took over. The Balance theme harnessed the power of colour to take on life's complex challenges.
An antidote to many challenges we faced was provided in the distilled colour palettes of Sentience, Chroma, Entwine and Construct.
