2025 Dulux Study Tour Event

A Night to Remember in Brisbane

Honouring Excellence, Building Connections

We recently came together in Brisbane to celebrate our Dulux Study Tour (DST) Alumni and officially induct the 2025 DST winners. The day featured exclusive and inspiring project tours, culminating in a fantastic evening at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art. It was a powerful moment where past and present winners connected, reflected, and celebrated the impact of our shared journey.

Tour reflections and meaningful connections

As part of the 2025 Alumni Event, this year’s winners — Gumji Kang, Kate Sheperd, Marni Reti, Nicholas Souksamrane, and Jimmy Carter — our newest Alumni inductees shared powerful reflections of their 2025 Dulux Study Tour experience. From standout projects and design philosophies to the people and places that left a lasting impression. It was a meaningful reminder of how shared experiences and fresh perspectives continue to shape our industry and inspire future leaders.

Exclusive Project Tours

Inspiring Design in Action

As part of the 2025 Alumni Event, the Alumni had exclusive access to some of Brisbane’s most compelling architectural projects, sparking inspiration and rich discussion throughout the day.

  • 443 Queen Street by Cbus and WOHA: A subtropical high-rise that blends open-air living with lush greenery and climate-responsive design.

  • Golden Avenue in the heritage-listed Coal Board House: A thoughtful heritage adaptation that merges historic character with contemporary mixed-use functionality.

  • 205 North Quay by Cbus, Hassell, and Richards and Spence: A sculptural commercial tower that redefines workplace design through collaboration and public realm integration.

These tours offered a unique opportunity to engage with the spaces shaping Brisbane’s urban identity and provided a dynamic backdrop for reflection and connection among alumni and new inductees.
