Dulux Acratex® StoneShield™ Cladding System
The StoneShield Cladding System is designed as a totally integrated, multi-layered, non-load bearing lightweight cladding system for facades. Delivering a weatherproof external building envelope that provides excellent thermal performance (R-Value) with continuous insulation (CI) to reduce thermal bridging and also offers noise reduction and fire rated (FRL) performance.
Suitable for NCC Volume One Class 2 to 9: Commercial Multi-Residential Construction and NCC Volume Two Class 1 & 10: Residential Housing Construction.
CodeMark Certified The StoneShield System is CodeMark® certified as a fully integrated lightweight cladding system in compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Dual-Density Lightweight Panel FacadeRock DD dual-density panels have a high-density top layer for easy basecoat application and a low-density inner layer, to better adapt to frame irregularities.
Fire Rated The StoneShield System has been tested to AS 1530.4 and is approved for use in bushfire prone areas up to BAL-FZ. Achieving a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of 90/90/90. Subject to system specification.
Energy Efficient The StoneShield System has a thermal performance value of R3.88 to R4.96 (subject to frame type), delivering continuous insulation.

Ease of Installation One FacadeRock DD panel is lightweight and covers the same surface area of approximately 52 standard bricks.

DULUX ACRATEX
The StoneShield Cladding System is finished with the multi‑layered Dulux Acratex Coating System, incorporating a basecoat (render), aesthetic coat and protective membrane topcoats for resistance against climatic and atmospheric conditions. Available in the full Dulux colour range.
ROCKWOOL
ROCKWOOL 75mm FacadeRock™ DD (dual-density) panels are made from basalt and other natural stones. Manufactured with the outer surface featuring a distinctly higher density than the underside. The high-density top layer eases basecoat (render) application, while the lower-density inner layer reduces panel weight to better adapt to frame irregularities. These features reduce installation time and provide an effective barrier against heat, sound, and moisture.
FLETCHER INSULATION
Sisalation® Vapawrap® breathable wall wrap by Fletcher Insulation complies with there quirements of AS 4200.1:2017 as a water barrier and vapour permeable membrane.

The Dulux Acratex StoneShield Cladding System provides CodeMark compliant, weather proof cladding and insulation system suitable for residential, commercial and low-rise multi-residential building applications.
The StoneShield system consists of Façade Rock™ Dual Density (DD) Panels from Rockwool –Exclusive to the StoneShield system. Façade Rock Dual Density Panels are an insulating material formed by melting inorganic stones obtained from volcanic rocks, and spinning them to form fibres, which are then compressed in panels. Because of the natural materials panel sare made from, they are recyclable and are classified as Non Dangerous goods by ICANZ -Insulation Council of Australia and New Zealand.

StoneShield is an alternative to masonry construction e.g. brick and AAC for non-load bearing walls. StoneShield can be used in non-cyclonic regions, for both single and double story residential constructions (Building Classes 1&10) and 2 to 4 story commercial construction (Building Class 2 to 9).
The StoneShield system is fire resistant and can be used for boundary and separating walls where fire rated performance (FRL) is required, and is suitable for use in all Bushfire zones up to BAL-FZ.
Whether you’re a developer, architect, designer, builder or cladding installer, the StoneShield Cladding System delivers an alternative walling system to traditional masonry construction. It includes light weight panels that are easily cut and fixed to timber or steel framing, and then finished with a protective coating system.
