Acratex® PrepTreat™ is a water-based low toxicity, Bacterial, fungal and algal sterilising treatment designed to kill film spoilage species, making it an integral component with the Roof Membrane System to be applied and left on pre-cleaned surfaces prior to subsequent coating systems.

Roofing surfaces
All surfaces must be cured, clean, sound and free of all contaminants such as form oils, release agents and mortar splashes. Surface imperfections, misalignments and protrusions must be levelled and patched and completely flush to surrounding surfaces. Metal, tie wire, etc. on surface must be removed or treated against corrosion.
Prime substrate with Dulux Acratex AcraPrime SB.
Ensure that it is cured completely and covers the substrate evenly.
Patch with Dulux Acratex AcraPatch after priming then only the patched areas need to be spot primed with Dulux Acratex AcraPrime WB.
• Apply Dulux Acratex® Prep Treat liberally to problem surface via garden pressure spray unit.
• Let set for 24 hours for optimium results.
• Remove any dead debris by scrubbing with a stiff bristle brush or using a garden hose with nozzle at maximum velocity.
• Apply a 2nd coat prior to application of Dulux Acratex® Roof Memebrane Next generation or Cool Roof Next generation for increased protection.
• Allow to dry.

Unused paintDo not pour leftover paint down the drain. Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.Empty paint containersLeave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs. Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities.
