Dulux AutoShield™ is a premium acrylic topcoat ideal for use on automotive parts, panels and accessories. It has a wide spray pattern for covering larger areas, provides good coverage and good adhesion.

Areas to use
Precautions and limitations
For best results, avoid spraying in low temperatures (less than 15°C) or high humidity.
Previously Painted Surfaces
The surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt. Lightly Sand. Clean with wax and grease remover.
Unpainted Surfaces
For Ferrous metals apply AutoShield Primer Surfacer or Primer Filler first.
For Non Ferrous metals apply AutoShield Etch Primer first.
For plastic surfaces apply AutoShield Plastic Primer first.
Airless/Conventional Spray
Before spraying: Shake can for at least 2 minutes or until the mixing ball rattles inside the can. For best results, avoid spraying in low temperatures (less than 15°C) or high humidity.
Application: Hold the can upright approximately 20–25cm from the surface. To ensure compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area. Use smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. Apply several light mist coats rather than 1 heavy coat to avoid runs and sags. Allow 5 minutes flash off between coats.
After spraying: Prevent nozzle blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges. Wipe the front of nozzle clean. Clean up any overspray while it is still wet using general purpose thinner.
Recoating: Recoat after 1 hour.
Unused paint
Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper, allow to dry and dispose of remaining contents/container in accordance with local, regional, national and international regulations.
