We believe sustainability is everyone’s business. Anything worth doing depends on a stable climate, a balanced environment, and strong communities.
We are proud to share some of our current sustainable products and initiatives that we are actively focusing on.
As well as diverting 15L plastic paint buckets from landfill, we're helping trade painters and construction companies save on waste costs too.
That’s a win for you – and a win for the planet. You can find these recycled roller trays, stirrers and painter pots in our Dulux® Trade network and through our retail partners.
Customers can simply drop off their used 15L plastic paint buckets, lids and tear strips off at a participating store. The more plastic we collect, the more we help the planet – we accept a wide range of Dulux®, Berger®, Hadrian®, Fosroc® and Emer® 15L plastic buckets.
Talk to your Sales rep or local store about registering your project or business as part of the Dulux Envirosolutions Recovery Program.

Dulux is a founding member of Paintback, a not-for-profit organisation helping DIY and trade painters responsibly dispose of unwanted paint and packaging at collection points across Australia.
Paintback repurposes the valuable materials in leftover paint into recycled packaging, alternative energy fuel as well as water resources and is funding research to find better uses for unwanted paint and packaging waste.
Our commitment to sustainability continues behind the scenes as we've been installing solar power systems across the Dulux Trade Centre store network to reduce carbon emissions since 2022. This follows technology used at our manufacturing facility to reduce Dulux’s environmental impact, including solar power generation, rain harvesting and on-site wastewater management.
* Our goal is to seek to divert 700,000 plastic paint buckets a year from landfill by 2027.
