The stencil (provided inside your kit) is a proud acknowledgement of your project, and the support from Dulux. It encourages future partnerships, and inspires others to invest in beautifying our shared spaces.
1. Choose the location: select a prominent spot on the community asset that’s been painted, where the stencil can be easily noticed.
2. Mark the spot: hold the stencil in position. Use the stickers on each corner supplied to hold the position. Ensure the stencil is straight using a level.
3. Grab a paint roller: roll the paint evenly against the stencil, pressing firmly on the paper to ensure it doesn’t smudge.
4. Snap a photo! Share your story by tagging us on @DuluxAus and telling us how paint donations have made a difference to your organisation or community group.
Dulux is a founding member of Paintback, a not-for-profit organisation helping DIY and trade painters responsibly dispose of unwanted paint and packaging at collection points across Australia.
Paintback repurposes the valuable materials in leftover paint into recycled packaging, alternative energy fuel as well as water resources and is funding research to find better uses for unwanted paint and packaging waste.
