Life, Point Cook Development
Case study
Life, Point Cook is a vibrant new community in one of Victoria’s fastest-growing suburbs. The development offers a range of homes with block sizes from 256m to 800m and is designed around a series of interconnected parks, conservation reserves and wetlands.
Project Overview
Developer: Frasers Property
Builder: Creation Homes
Background
Providing architecturally designed three and four-bedroom townhouses, the project offers views of breathtaking natural landscapes. Home exteriors boast beautiful form and effortless function, inspired by the natural blueprint of the Fibonacci Principle. Interiors feature premium fittings, fixtures and finishes. Each home has a modern, porch-style entrance and a generous two-car garage.
The developer, Frasers Property, partnered with Porter Davis Homes to design and construct all homes.

The Challenge
Each home was built with a two-car garage to maximise buyer appeal and minimise the need for off-street parking.
Our home is where we live, work and play. For this reason, it was essential that surfaces were durable and could withstand repetitive washing and cleaning.
‘Low-maintenance living’ was a key selling point of the development, so all products used were selected to provide long-lasting performance and minimise maintenance requirements.
Project Outcomes
With project specifiers able to order physical samples, textures, colours and finishes could be viewed on site prior to application, assisting with decision making.
Homes are high-traffic areas with walls subject to frequent knocks, scrapes and scuffs, so it was vital that common areas walls were durable and washable. When applied to plasterboard interiors, Dulux Wash & Wear delivers a hard-wearing acrylic finish that can be continually washed.
The roller door systems installed across the development needed to be reliable and safe while providing owners with the luxury of a dual-car garage space.
Exsulite is a fully integrated lightweight thermal cladding solution that is an alternative to traditional masonry systems. Exsulite is a Codemark® certified full system offering design flexibility and energy efficiency.
Dulux Weathershield was used to provide durable barrier protection against dirt and UV damage for home exteriors. It provided an aesthetically pleasing outcome while improving surface washability.
Dulux products were used across interiors, exterior facades and roller doors to provide lasting visual appeal, support consistent usage and offer protection for years to come.
