Brush away any dirt and wipe down the furniture using Selleys Sugar Soap.
Use a brush to remove imperfections; if needed, fill gaps and sand any imperfections.
Lightly sand any pre-painted surfaces.
When spraying with Weathershield®, you need to dilute the paint with up to 10% water.
Stir the diluted paint to ensure a consistent consistency.
Pour the paint into the spray gun and test the pressure of the paint on a testing sheet.
Protect your outdoor space from overspray by holding up a piece of cardboard behind the furniture as you spray it.
Put the spray gun on the vertical setting and point the spray gun towards your furniture.
Start moving the sprayer before you press the trigger to prevent too much paint in one area.
Spray your furniture with long sweeping strokes.
Release your finger from the trigger when you reach the end of the item, to prevent too much paint from forming in one area and dripping.
Wait two hours for the first coat to dry.
Follow the same steps, 2 or 3 coats may be required.
Ensure you thoroughly clean the spray gun after use.
