Established in Melbourne in 1983 and now situated in Wood Marsh’s iconic award-winning building in the heart of the Southbank Arts Precinct, ACCA develops exhibitions exploring the ideas and work of artists from Australia and around the world.
Renowned for the outstanding quality of its programs and its capacity to bring inspiring Australian and international art to audiences, ACCA is a champion of new art and bold ideas and a dynamic platform for artists, thinkers, enthusiasts and supporters of the visual arts of all ages.
ACCA is a non-collecting gallery. Instead of maintaining a collection, ACCA focuses on commissioning ambitious new works by Australian and international artists at critical moments of their career. One of the most exciting things about ACCA is seeing something new for the very first time in the galleries.
Dulux has supported ACCA’s exhibitions for over eight years and has helped bring significant new commissions by Australian and international artists to life in the gallery, including, Jonathan Jones, Claire Lambe, TV Moore, Pipilotti Rist, Sam Songailo, Ulla von Brandenburg and Bik Van der Pol and many more.
