1. Introduction
The WeatherDesk has been designed to fit seamlessly onto your computer desktop environment. It includes a number of tools that allow you to change the way your WeatherDesk looks, feels and behaves.


2. Change the Location
Use the location menu to view over 400 different locations across Australia. Simply select your preferred location, click OK and watch your WeatherDesk weather change!



3. 3-day Forecast and More Weather
View a 3-day forecast with minimum and maximum temperatures by extending the interface, or use the ‘more weather’ menu to visit www.weatherzone.com.au for more detailed weather options.



4. Rollovers
Roll your mouse over a weather image for more detailed weather information such as Humidity, Rainfall and Wind Speed and Direction.




5. Preferences
Right click on the WeatherDesk to change the way your WeatherDesk functions. Options include loading your WeatherDesk automatically when you start your computer, changing where your WeatherDesk appears on your desktop, and selecting the interface colour.

6. Easy Installation
PC Users
Upon downloading, you will encounter a download prompt to install the WeatherDesk. Select “Save” or “Save to Disk” and save the file to your preferred location. Double-click on the downloaded installation file to start running the simple and user-friendly Setup Wizard.

MAC Users
Upon downloading, drag the application to the application folder (or alternative destination of your choice), then double-click on the widget icon to launch the tool.


7. Easy Uninstallation
Don’t want your WeatherDesk any longer? Uninstall WeatherDesk and all associated files with the easy-to-use uninstall function.

You must exit WeatherDesk before commencing the uninstall process.

PC users can exit WeatherDesk by right clicking on your WeatherDesk logo in the system tray and selecting “Exit”. The system tray can be found in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, and includes other icons for volume etc.

MAC users can exit WeatherDesk by clicking on your widget interface, extending the
“Weather’” menu in the top left-hand corner of the screen, and selecting “Quit Weather”.

PC: To uninstall WeatherDesk and all associated files simply go to your programs menu, find the WeatherDesk folder, and select ‘Uninstall’ from the menu options.

MAC: If you choose to manually uninstall WeatherDesk from your machine, you will need to remove the WeatherDesk folder . Please note the location of this folder varies if installed to a location other than the default location of the Applications folder.


8. Updating versions
To update your version of WeatherDesk simply right click on the interface and select ‘Check for new versions’. If a new version is available a web page will open and begin downloading. The new version will install itself and request that your old version is closed. Your update will then be complete.
