1. What operating system does WeatherDesk run on?
WeatherDesk will run on computers with the following operating systems:
PC
• Windows 2000.
• Windows XP.
We recommend that you have the latest service packs and updates available.

MAC
• MAC OS X 10.3 or greater.

2. How do I install and use WeatherDesk?
Please refer to our how to use your WeatherDesk section for further information about WeatherDesk functionality.

3. I want to remove WeatherDesk from my Computer. How do I uninstall it?
PC: To uninstall WeatherDesk and all associated files simply go to your programs menu, find the WeatherDesk folder, and select ‘Uninstall’ from the menu options.

MAC: If you choose to manually uninstall WeatherDesk from your machine, you will need to remove the WeatherDesk folder. Please note the location of this folder varies if installed to a location other than the default location of the Applications folder.

4. What type of Internet connection do I need to run WeatherDesk?
The WeatherDesk doesn’t download much data so dialup connection is sufficient. However, the WeatherDesk provides real-time conditions therefore to allow this function, the Internet needs to be connected 24/7 to get the latest information.

5. Who do I contact if I have feedback regarding WeatherDesk?

6. Will WeatherDesk affect the day-to-day running of my computer?
No, it won’t affect the day-to-day operation of your computer. WeatherDesk will run in conjunction with other programs and applications.

7. From where does WeatherDesk get its weather data?
WeatherDesk uses advanced and up-to-date weather data provided by The Weather Company via www.weatherzone.com.au.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) supplies weather information and The Weather Company converts this information into computer ready data.
