1. What operating system does WeatherDesk run on?
WeatherDesk will run on computers with the following operating systems:
PC
• Windows 2000.
• Windows XP.
We recommend that you have the latest service packs and updates available.

MAC
• MAC OS X 10.3 or greater.


2. How do I install, uninstall and use WeatherDesk?

3. What type of Internet connection do I need to run WeatherDesk?
Whilst the WeatherDesk will run on a dial-up connection, a 24/7 connection (i.e. Broadband) is considered the best way to receive real-time weather conditions throughout the day.


4. Who do I contact if I have feedback regarding WeatherDesk?

5. Will WeatherDesk affect the day-to-day running of my computer?
No, it won’t affect the day-to-day operation of your computer. WeatherDesk will run in conjunction with other programs and applications.


6. From where does WeatherDesk get its weather data? How often is this updated?
WeatherDesk uses advanced and up-to-date weather data provided by The Weather Company via www.weatherzone.com.au.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) supplies weather information and The Weather Company converts this information into computer ready data.

7. What if I see the ‘No Internet’ signal?
If you see this signal, make sure your Internet connection is working. If it is, you can try restarting your computer. Alternatively, try uninstalling WeatherDesk and download it again.


8. What is the difference between version 1 and 1.01 of WeatherDesk?
WeatherDesk 1.01 includes some minor updates to improve performance and addresses an Internet Explorer 7 compatibility issue.
