Winners Announced for 2016 Tour

The Dulux Study Tour is a coveted program that inspires and fosters Australia's next generation of emerging architectural talent.

Now in its ninth year, the program, once again invites architectural professionals to submit entries for the 2016 Dulux Study Tour. Winners will embark on an exciting tour of Copenhagen, London and Madrid where they can experience firsthand some of the best architectural sites and practices.


The 2016 winners have been announced and the tour will commence in Friday 13 May 2016

Entry into the 2016 Dulux Study Tour is open to all architects and graduates of architecture of up to 10 years from graduation of the two-tier or five year Bachelor of Architecture degree. However, it is only open to Australian citizens/residents and New Zealand citizens residing in Australia. It is not mandatory that entrants are Australian Institute of Architects members.

The Prize

Five winners will travel as a group to a number of international destinations. The prize covers domestic transfers; return economy international flights, accommodation, transport and meals for the duration of the Study Tour program.
The five winners were announced at the Australian Achievement in Architecture Awards (AAAA) 2015

Judging Criteria
The prize will be awarded to five emerging architects on the basis of their individual contributions to:

  • Architectural practice
  • Education
  • Design excellence
  • And community involvement

The jury will consist of six members including:

  • Institute CEO
  • Institute President
  • EmAGN President
  • Past Dulux Study Tour winner
  • Dulux representative
  • and other sponsor representatives
