Acrathane® IF is an isocyanate-free catalysed acrylic finish for long term durability in both exterior and interior areas. Its isocyanate free formulation is particuarly useful for on-site spray application. Acrathane® IF is easily recoatable with itself after detergent degreasing and light abrasion. Acrathane® IF is ideal for public spaces that may be prone to defacement by spray-can graffiti, as it is unaffected by Dulux Graffiti Eraser.

| Weatherability | Very good gloss and colour retention on exterior exposure. |
| Heat Resistance | Up to 100°C dry heat. |
| Water Resistance | Excellent resistance to fresh and salt water. Not suitable for immersion. |
| Abrasion Resistance | Good abrasion resistance when fully cured. |
| Solvent Resistance | Resists splash and spillage of most hydrocarbon solvents and most common alcohols. |
| Acid Resistance | Suitable for splash and spillage of mild acids. Acrathane IF Sparkling Aluminium is not suitable for acidic conditions. |
| Alkaline Resistance | Good resistance to splash and spillage of most alkalis. |
| Salt Resistance | Unaffected by splash and spillage of neutral and alkaline salt solutions. |

Ensure surface has been cleaned, prepared and primed according to coating specification.
Uses
Acrathane® IF is ideal for public spaces that may be prone to defacement by spray-can graffiti such as railway stations, ground level walls, underpasses, public car park walls, foyers, canopies, awnings, columns, screens, lifts and furniture and facades of shopping centres, sports centres and arts complexes.

Use and typical specification
Mild steel: Abrasive blast AS1627.4 Class 2.5. Typical system: 1 x Zincanode® 402 @ 75 microns + 1 x Duremax GPE @ 150 microns + 1 x Acrathane® IF @ 60 microns.
