Luxepoxy® 4 White Primer is a non inhibitive two-pack epoxy primer recommended for priming galvanized steel, aluminium or concrete. The low film build allows faster drying.

Performance Guide
| Weatherability | Some chalking will occur on exterior exposure if not topcoated. This will not detract from the protective properties of the coating. |
| Heat Resistance | Up to 120°C dry heat. |
| Water Resistance | Resists condensation and rain. Not suitable for permanently damp conditions or immersion. |
| Abrasion Resistance | Good abrasion resistance when fully cured. |
| Solvent Resistance | Withstands intermittent splash and spillage of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. |
| Acid Resistance | Not recommended where fumes, splash or spillage may occur. |
| Alkaline Resistance | Not recommended where fumes, splash or spillage may occur |
| Salt Resistance | Excellent resistance to splash ans spillage of neutral salt solutions. |
Application
Roller, Brush, Airspray, Conventional Spray
Surface Preparation
Round off all rough welds and sharp edges, and remove weld spatter. Degrease by detergent wash according to AS1627.1. For all structural and decorative steel, abrasive blast clean to AS1627.4 Class 2.5. Remove all dust. Apply first coat before surface deterioration occurs.
Uses
Luxepoxy® 4 White Primer is typically used as a primer under suitable topcoats on cranes, tanks and roofs,and as a primer/finish in internal steelwork in warehouses and factories.

[Steel]: Power tool clean to AS1627.2 St 3. Typical system: 1 x Luxaprime® ZP @ 75 microns + 2 x Duraflex® 2 @ 50 microns.
