Dulux Australia began operations in Sydney in 1918.

Dulux has since established itself as the clear market leader within the decorative coatings market in Australia and is the household name in decoration and protection.

In the 1960's Dulux launched the first water-based paints which evolved, in the 1970's, to become Dulux Wash and Wear and Weathershield - brands that are still pillars of the Dulux business today.

Dulux was also first to introduce low VOC paint to Australia in the early 1990's, and ongoing research and development continues today to find innovative solutions that reduce the impact its products have on the environment, whilst maintaining its focus on quality and performance standards expected by its clients and customers.

Dulux Premium and Dulux Professional products are used extensively on commercial and residential projects across the country.
