DULUX AcraTex 968 AcraSkin is an optimized crack bridging, Elastomeric Membrane coating applied by conventional nap roller or medium cell Texture Roller delivering a weatherproofing, highly flexible crack bridging coating. Specified in 350-400 micron dry film build specifications Available in Low Gloss only across the Dulux World of Colour range, pastel, deep and ultra-deep colour ranges, AcraSkin produces a low profile roller stipple appearance (dependant on roller type)

Performance Guide

Weatherability] Excellent resistance to cracking, flaking and chalking.
Heat Resistance] Up to 90C (dry). Meets Early Fire Hazard AS 1530.3. Ignitability 0, Spread 0, Heat 0, Smoke 1.
Abrasion Resistance] Good resistance to abrasion.
Solvent Resistance] Resists alcohol and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Sensitive to other strong solvents.
Acid Resistance] Slightly softening with dilute acids.
Alkaline Resistance] New Cement / Concrete surfaces should be allowed to cure for 28 days to stabalise alkalinity
Salt Resistance] Resists salt spray.

Use and typical specification

Applied by conventional nap roller to produce a Mid Build, Highly Flexible barrier coat, 968 AcraSkin is specified for facade protection where ultimate elingation and cracking bridging is required
969 AcraSkin can also be used a High Build Texture Barrier coat applied by medium cell (Black) Texture Roller to produce a low profile Textured Finish

Application Guide DULUX AcraTex 968 AcraSkin is applied by either regular texture roller at 1.3 sq.m/l to produce a Low Profile texture. OR by Nap Roller at 4 sq. m/l per coat in a two coat application for a to a achieve semi smooth finish. For full details refer to individual Duspec Product and AcraTex Applicational Data Sheets.
