DULUX Design Rust Base Paint (STEP 1)
Dulux Design Rust is an interior/exterior effect paint that provides an authentic rusted iron finish on any paintable surface. Dulux Design Rust Base Paint must be used with Dulux Design Rust Solution to achieve the Rust effect.

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES. Dulux Design Rust can be applied over previously painted surfaces that are in good condition. For optimum appearance, a smooth surface free of defects is required. Lightly sand any glossy finishes. Clean marked walls by washing with sugar soap and rinse with water. Apply one coat of Dulux 1 Step Acrylic Primer Sealer & Undercoat to any areas which have been repaired or which have an uneven gloss level. UNPAINTED SURFACES. Bare Paperfaced Wallboard, Cement, Brick: Brush down to remove any surface dust. Apply one coat of Dulux 1 Step Acrylic Primer Sealer & Undercoat. Bare Set Plaster, Fibrous Plaster, Plasterglass: Brush down to remove any surface dust. Apply one coat of Dulux Sealer Binder.
Clean all equipment with water
Dulux Design Rust is an easy and effective way to give your interior/exterior feature wall a unique point of difference. It can also be used to transform doors and outdoor accessories into a modern design statement. To achieve an authentic rust effect, first apply 2 coats of Dulux Design Rust Base Paint and then apply 2 coats of Dulux Rust Solution.
