Dulux Colour Awards 2016 Terms & Conditions
Entry is open to Architects, Interior Designers, Specifiers, Colour Consultants and Students of Interior Design or Architecture, up to one year of graduation that reside in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea or Fiji.
Projects can be submitted into Award categories as follows:
Commercial Interior - Workplace and Retail
The interior paint finishes of any commercial or industrial building such as offices, studios, factories, retail outlets, and shopping centres
Commercial Interior - Public and Hospitality
The interior paint finishes of any commercial or industrial building such as education facilities, community centres, healthcare facilities, museums, theatres, places of worship, cafes, restaurants, fitness centres, hotels and accommodation.
The exterior paint finishes of any commercial or industrial building.
Single Residential Interior
The interior paint finishes of any building used as a private single residence
Single Residential Exterior
The exterior paint finishes of any building used as a private single residence
Multi Residential Interior
The interior paint finishes of any building used as a private multi-residence
Multi Residential Exterior
The exterior paint finishes of any building used as a private multi-residence
Any commercial or residential project within Asia Pacific (that are not located in Australia) that features Dulux colour and product for Interior or Exterior.
Student (Years 1 - 6)
Paint specification by architecture or interior design students who are currently attending or have just completed - within the past 12 months - a course at a recognised University or College.
The best of the show selected from individual category winners. This must be a complete, built project.
Projects entered into the professional categories of the Dulux Colour Awards must be completed within the past 12 months. Dulux Colour and Dulux Paint must have been used within the project.
Entrants must obtain express approval of the property owner to enter the project and checked with the painting contractor.
Entrants can submit more than one project and previous submissions will not be accepted.
Submissions must adhere to the guidelines and specifications as detailed in the How to Enter section on www.dulux.com.au/colourawards. Submissions that do not conform will not be accepted.
All entries must be submitted by AEST 5PM 8th February 2016. Late submissions will not be accepted. Projects entered will be judged on the project board, images and project description submitted.
Projects submitted will be judged by Dulux for first round judging. Shortlisted entries will be notified from February 2016 to March 2016 and will be judged by a panel of 5 external judges on March 2016 for the final round judging.
A winner from each category will be selected and commendations will be awarded if the judges deem appropriate.
Each category winner receives AUD $1,000 prize money and certificate
Student category winner receives AUD $500 prize money and certificate
Grand Prix Winner receives AUD $5000 prize money and certificate
The Dulux Colour Awards winners will be announced at an invitation only event on March 2015 at a venue to be confirmed.
Prize money will be awarded as a cheque. Dulux suggests winners seek independent financial advice regarding prize money.
The judge's decision is final. No feedback will be provided on non winning entries.
Category winners should make themselves available for interview/photo shoots for publicity purposes pertaining to the Awards.
