Distribution SH&E Manager
One sentence describing your position:
To provide assistance to all OCP Distribution Centres in Safety,
Health & Environment Management.
How did you come to work for Dulux?
I applied for the OCP Safety Improvement Manager role as a
change from my previous role as a SH&E Consultant with another
manufacturing and distribution company. The role attracted me as it
was more project based. I subsequently applied for the Distribution
SH&E Manager role as the position became available.
What do you enjoy the most about the jobs you've
Both jobs I have held with OCP have been very different and
The most rewarding part of the job is getting to know many
people from all areas of the company. One of my first tasks
was to conduct a training road show which required me to visit key
operations sites in Australia and New Zealand.
What have been your career highlights?
My career progression has involved different SH&E roles and
moving between companies in different industries. Some of my major
career highlights are being involved with changes to SH&E
culture and consolidations of manufacturing and distribution sites.
I have also had the opportunity to assist sites in all areas of
Australia and New Zaland.
What training have you done at Dulux?
I have completed the Deliver the Promise, SH&E
Leadership, Behavioural Safety, Harassment and a number of IT
training sessions in my short time working with OCP.
Would you recommend Dulux as an employer to your friends
and if so why?
I would definitely recommend OCP as an employer to my friends as
the company has provided an opportunity for me to move around and
be involved in many different projects which has enabled me to
enhance my skills in many areas of SH&E.
