DULUX Weathermax® HBR MIO - PC405
Weathermax® HBR MIO is a two pack polyurethane finish for long term durability in both exterior and interior areas. Weathermax® HBR MIO is ideal for property maintenance as it has been specially formulated for brush and roller application with superior flow out of brushmarks compared with other MIO finishes. Weathermax® HBR MIO is easily recoatable with itself after detergent degreasing and light abrasion. Weathermax® HBR MIO is ideal for public spaces that may be prone to defacement by spray-can graffiti, as it is unaffected by Dulux Graffiti Eraser.

Roller, Brush, Airspray, Conventional Spray
Round off all rough welds and sharp edges, and remove weld spatter. Degrease by detergent wash according to AS1627.1. For all structural and decorative steel, abrasive blast clean to AS1627.4 Class 2.5. Remove all dust. Apply first coat before surface deterioration occurs.
Weathermax® HBR MIO is the preferred topcoat for all structural and decorative steelwork exposed in aggressive environments such as coastal developments and commerical, industrial and infrastructure projects. Weathermax® HBR MIO is also ideal for the maintenance of public spaces that may be prone to defacement by spray-can graffiti such as railway stations, ground level walls, underpasses, public car park walls, foyers, canopies, awnings, columns, screens, lifts and furniture and facades of shopping centres, sports centres and arts complexes.
Use and typical specification
Mild steel: Abrasive blast AS1627.4 Class 2.5. Typical system: 1 x Zincanode® 402 @ 75 microns + 1 x Duremax GPE @ 150 microns + 1 x Weathermax® HBR @100 microns.
